Adriene Pratt
Adriene believes that every individual inherently possesses the ability to positively change their lives. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of education, working as a teacher and a Principal with neurodiverse teens, young adults and their families. Adriene understands the challenges many families face with learning struggles and uses this background to help clients achieve personal, academic, and professional goals. She also has experience supporting clients with body-focussed repetitive behaviours (BFRB) such as skin picking and trichotillomania as well as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Adriene’s approach is grounded in humanistic principles, believing in each individual's capacity for growth. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Narrative Therapy into her practice. Adriene tailors her methods with a person-centred focus to help clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Her approach is warm, inclusive and needs-oriented.
